With the correct anti-slip topcoat — which we always specify for bathrooms, showers and outdoor areas — microcement meets standard wet-area slip ratings. Indoor living areas typically use a smoother satin finish.
Properly sealed microcement resists daily wear, light impact and UV exposure (outdoors) for 15+ years. If it's ever damaged, it can typically be lightly resurfaced rather than fully replaced.
